Make A Splash!

Kids from birth to 6th grade can spend the summer splashing around at the library!  Earn prizes and AR points for reading things you choose.

Summer Reading kicks off on Friday, June 11 with Splish, Splash, Magic!, an all-ages magic show, at 2 p.m.  Finish school, grab some lunch, and join Magician Gordon Russ as he spells you with reading fun!

Visit our Events Calendar to see all of our summer programs and events!  We're also welcoming Ron Loyd, The Bubbleman on Saturday, June 19 and popular area presenter Paul McCormack, better known as The Critter Guy, on Sunday, July 18th. Wrap things up this summer with the Hands-On Museum! Museum staff are developing a water-themed closing program just for us so that you can end the summer with a splash on Thursday, July 29.

Make Waves

Students entering 6th-12th grade can join our teen program and earn prizes for reading and doing fun activities.  This year teen will again be eligible for FAIR PRIZES, compliments of the Manchester Community Fair Board and vendors.

Sign up in the Teen Spot on Friday, June 11, and Teen Advisory Board volunteers will be on hand to tell you more!

Water Your Mind: Read!

Adults are welcome to join the fun too -- read a book, write a three-word review, and earn a prize!  You can earn four prizes between June 11 and July 29.

Be sure to browse your fellow readers' reviews when you stop by ... you might get a good idea for your own summer reading!
